Overview
What are Viral STIs? Viral STIs are sexually transmitted infections that are caused by viruses. These STIs have no cures, but are able to be treated, and some have vaccines. The best way possible to avoid these STIs are by abstinence, but other fairly reliable methods are sexual barriers during intercourse. The most common and harmful viral STIs are Herpes, HPV (Genital warts), HIV/AIDS, and Hepatitis B. These can seriously damage your body, so make sure you and your partner are both tested before taking part in sexual intercourse.
